So the ultrasound went perfectly this morning! Everything was where it should be and measuring perfectly! We were able to see a nice steady heartbeat, but the doc told the tech not to worry about recording the heart rate since we'll be going in next week for another ultrasound! Next week's appointment will be our LAST appointment with the fertility doc and then we will "graduate" to our regular OB! YAY! Lots of wonderful news! The picture of our ultrasound REALLY doesn't do it justice. Both Doug and I were astounded at the level of detail we could see on the screen. It's better than nothing though!
This gave us enough confidence (and increased our ever growing impatience) to share the news with the world! So, in just a few minutes I'll be announcing our arrival on facebook! Doug and I are not the type to withhold information, so it makes sense for us to shout it from the rooftops, because we are so incredibly excited!
